Twenty years have now passed since the Germano estate decided to make a classic method sparkling wine and joined a communal project with other Langa winemakers desirous of reestablishing the long tradition of Piedmontese classic method winemaking. This communal project was the beginning of the present Alta Langa Consortium (Consorzio Alta Langa).
